Custom fields are provided for better customization. By using these fields, you can personalize and tailor your project items according to your needs.

Following are key benefits of using Custom Fields:

• If an Item does not contain a built-in field that you additionally require. You can use Custom Fields to input additional data.
• You can add such fields in Issues, User Stories, Tasks and Epics
• You can use the same field in multiple projects. These are not Project dependent and can be associated with more than one project in your organization.
• Track project progress using a Custom Field as Column, on each board.
• Filter your search using these fields on all Yodiz boards
